Event Review: Swiss Technologies for Green Canadian Buildings

Swiss and Canadian architects, city planners and business people gathered on November 9th in an elegant room at the SFU Harbour Centre for a lunch & learn. The topic of the event was to discuss how Swiss know-how and experience can help Vancouver to become the world's greenest city. After a quick lunch, Stephan Tanner held an interesting keynote presentation, which was followed by an open discussion. One interesting conclusion of the discussion was that particularly in the field of windows and balcony isolation, Switzerland has efficient approaches and solutions which are unknown in Canada.
