Free trade agreements are a big topic these days in Canada. Changes to the NAFTA  agreement (Canada, Mexico and the United States) are being discussed frequently on the US campaign trail. At the same time, the EU and Canada are trying to finalize a trade deal right now. But let's not forget that Canada and the countries of the European EFTA, including Switzerland signed a free trade agreement already a few years ago. For more information on this topic, just send us an email and we will point you in the direction of an expert.

On November 29th we will host our popular, annual, pre-Christmas Reception & Fundraising event. We have received great auction items already but continue to look for many more.
Items already donated include: signed photo from Swiss, Vancouver Canucks Luca Sbisa, 2-night stay at a great Log Cabin near Merrit, tickets to events, landmarks, restaurants, sailing course vauchers, and some very unique Swiss items.
Looking forward to seeing many of you on November 29th.
Sincerely Yours,
Vince Sciamanna
President, Swiss Canadian Chamber of Commerce
