Industry Canada hopes to improve conditions for investment, enhance Canada's innovation performance, and increase Canada's share of global trade. Furthermore, many of Industry Canada's services (such as filing an application for patent) can now be completed online through Strategis.

Western Economic Diversification Canada

Western Economic Diversification Canada (WD) offers two business development programs specifically for small and medium-sized businesses in Western Canada - the First Jobs in Science and Technology Program and International Trade Personnel Program.
