The RCMP presented to our Board of Directors, and our special guests in the Government, Financial and Legal Sectors, techniques in Money Laundering Prevention and Detection. It was a most captivating and eye opening presentation.

The Swiss National Day Celebration hosted by the SCMRA (Swiss Canadian Mountain Range Association) in partnership with the Swiss Society and SCCC proved to be a fun & social evening for all ages. Special thanks to Elizabeth Staub, SCCC Member for coordinating the event from our side.

March 29, 2007 - AGM / New President Elected

The Swiss Canadian Chamber of Commerce (B.C.) Inc. is pleased to announce the election of Mr. Thomas Amgwerd, as President. Thomas already has served on the SCCC board of directors for over 10 years, 2 thereof as its President in 1995 and 1996.

SCCC Mini Series - Swiss Banking System was a hit! The venue was completely sold out with Mr. Wolfgang Harder of UBS presenting on domestic banking and Mr. Thomas Amgwerd of Bank Vontobel AG covering international banking.
